Mount Wolseley Golf Club-Golf in Ireland..

Located on the old Wolseley Estate, near the town of Tullow, Mount Wolseley Golf Club and Country Resort is found in County Carlow, less than an hour and a half drive from Ireland's capitol, Dublin. The resort is home to a magnificent championship parkland golf course, Mount Wolseley Golf Club, which opened in 1995. The course is an 18-hole, par 72, and spans some 7192 yards.

Christy O'Connor Jnr, arguably Ireland's most famous professional golfer, designed the course. It was built around the estate's manor house (now a hotel) and is located just a few hundred yards from the banks of the meandering River Slaney, with eye-catching views of the Blackstairs and Wicklow Mountains. It offers the visitor a wonderful round of golf, in a beautifully scenic setting, that will challenge even the most seasoned professional.

There are no easy holes at Mount Wolseley, with water being a feature on no less than eleven of them. There is a well-stocked pro shop on-site, which, amongst its other services, offers club, trolley and cart hire. There is a club bar, as well as, dining facilities for lunch, dinner and snacking. The resort also has hard-surface tennis courts, a heated swimming pool, a sauna and a gym.
