Bantry Bay Golf Club is located in the County Cork, in the Republic of Ireland. It is situated right at the head of Bantry Bay in the scenic west of the country, on the rugged Atlantic coastline. The course offers incredible views across the ocean, with the Beara Mountains to the north and Sheep's Head and the Mizen Peninsula to the south. It is a scenic golfing experience unlike any other.

Founded in 1975, Bantry Bay Golf Club is an 18 hole, par 71, cliff-top championship parkland course, spread out over 6500 yards of west Cork countryside. Veteran Irish golf architect Eddie Hackett originally designed the course. In 1996, Christy O'Connor Jnr, arguable Ireland's most famous professional golfer, undertook the task of redesigning and extending the course, updating it to USGA standards. The course offers great variety from hole to hole and boasts a challenging and rewarding round for golfers of all levels and abilities.

Bantry Bay Golf Club prides itself on its cosmopolitan approach to golfing, its bar and restaurant are renowned for their informal dress codes and friendly atmosphere, while offering some truly fine food and drinks, with a snack menu also available. The new clubhouse was opened in 2000 and boast a fine pro shop to cater to all of you golf accessory needs.
