Golf in Dublin at Citywest Golf Course which is home to two of the finest golf courses in the country: the Lake Course and the Championship Course. Located on over 300 acres of picturesque woodland, Citywest's Championship golf course was designed by one of Ireland's premier golfers, Christy O'Connor Jnr. It is located in the village of Saggart, in south County Dublin. Saggart is a heritage village with many noteworthy historical sites and has long attracted visitors from all over.
The Championship Course has played host to some formidable international golf competitions, including, the 1994 Irish Masters Championship and the 1996 Irish Ladies Open. It is an 18-hole, par 70, championship standard Parkland course, set on more than 6500 acres.
The Lake Course was one of the first courses in Ireland to be modelled on the popular American Executive Golf Course idea. It is a challenging 18-hole course that demands strategic play and offers some of the most rewarding golf in the country. It is this that has led it to host the prestigious Citywest PGA Assistant Professional Tournament.
Citywest has something to offer golfers of all levels and abilities, from seasoned professional right down to beginner. Citywest is open 7 days, carts, trolleys and clubs available for hire from the pro shop. There is also a Floodlit driving range, with expert tuition available.
