Eddie Hackett, one of Ireland's leading golf course architects, designed the Malahide Golf Course. It is one of Ireland's oldest clubs, dating back to 1892. The club boasts a proud history that sees it at the fore of development of Irish Golf. In 1990, the course was moved to its new location.
With its raised greens, many water hazards, difficult doglegs and ample woodland; the course offers some truly challenging and rewarding golf to the visitor. The clubhouse overlooks the entire golf course and offers some beautiful views of Dublin, all the way to the Dublin Mountains. It plays host to a fine restaurant, which offers top-class dining. There is also a bar and a well-stocked pro shop. Club, cart and trolley rentals are available to the visitor too.
