Dingle Golf Club-Golf in Dingle..

Dingle Golf Club, also known as Ceann Sibéal, is located just outside Dingle Town, on the Dingle Peninsula, in Co. Kerry. It can boast as being the most westerly golf course in the whole of Europe. Visitors to the course are offered an unspoilt view of the many riches of the peninsula as they play their round, from its hidden bays and fishing villages to its wonderful hills and mountains. There are also incredible views of the Blasket Islands and the Atlantic Ocean, making for a truly unique and scenic golfing experience.

Dingle Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 72, traditional championship links course, spread out over some 6690 yards of the lush Kerry countryside. Founded in 1924, the course was originally designed by Eddie Hackett. In more recent times, the course was re-designed by Christy O'Connor Jnr (one of Ireland's most famous professional golfers and important golf course architects), who justifiably compared it to St Andrews.

The entire course has been carved into the magical, unspoilt landscape, with many of the course hazards occurring naturally. Dingle Golf Club is definitely one of the best-kept golfing secrets in Ireland. Its incredible setting and relatively cheap green fees make it a must-visit for any links enthusiast.
