Seapoint Golf Club is located near the town of Termonfeckin, in County Louth, just one hour's drive north of Dublin (Ireland's capitol city). The club is situated at the mouth of the River Boyne, east of the historic town of Drogheda. The area has a rich heritage, from the famed Battle of the Boyne in 1690 to the beautiful medieval abbeys at Mellifont and Monasterboice.
Seapoint is found right on the east coast of Ireland, by the Irish Sea. Des Smyth, a famous Irish professional golfer and Ryder Cup team member, designed the course with Declan Brannigan, a renowned Irish International Amateur player. It is an 18-hole, par 72, championship links course, which covers some 7200 yards, on 200 acres of prime links land. The closing holes are bordered by beach, offering wonderful sea views.
Seapoint has an award-winning state of the art, modern clubhouse with many facilities on offer. There is a pro shop on-site that boasts a large range of footwear, clothing and golfing accessories. There are also facilities for the hire of caddies, trolleys, buggies and golf clubs. The bar area has a balcony that overlooks the golf course and offers some breathtaking views of the Irish Sea. The restaurant boasts a full menu for breakfast, snacks, lunches and dinners. Golf tuition is available from the resident PGA professional.
