Druids Heath Golf Course-Golf in Wicklow..

Opened in 2003, Druids Heath Golf Course is part of the renowned Druids Glen Golf Resort. It is located in Wicklow, near the east coast of Ireland and just 20 miles from the Irish capitol, Dublin. It is an 18-hole, par 71, championship golf course that combines the very best of links, parkland and heathland golfing, set out over 7434 yards of picturesque Wicklow countryside. It offers the visitor some spectacular views of the Irish Sea and the Wicklow Mountains, while enjoying a challenging round of golf.

Druids Heath was designed by famous Irish golf course architect Pat Ruddy and is impeccably maintained to Tour Standards. The front nine overlook the Irish Sea, while the back nine are set against the stunning Wicklow Mountains. James W. Finegan, a veteran American golf writer, has championed the 12th and 13th holes as two of the most unique holes you'll ever play.

There is a driving range, a putting green, a resort pro shop and a beautiful clubhouse (set in the 18th century structure, Woodstock House) all on-site. Club and buggy rental are also offered. There are conference facilities and a golf academy. The Druids Glen Golf Resort was recently voted the European Golf resort of the Year for 2005.
