Tulfarris Golf Club is located in County Wicklow, in the Republic of Ireland. It is about an hours drive south from the Irish capitol, Dublin. Built on three peninsulas overlooking Blessington Lakes, with stunning views of the nearby Wicklow Mountains, the course offers a truly scenic and unique golfing experience. It is part of the Tulfarris Hotel and Golf Resort, which is housed on the grounds of an 18th century manor house and the old Tulfarris Castle.
It is an 18-hole, par 72, championship course, set out over 7832 yards and was designed by Paul J. Merrigan, one of Ireland's foremost golf architects. Its layout is a wonderful mixture of wide fairways, USGA standard greens, forestry and brilliantly placed sand and water hazards. It has hosted the Irish Seniors Open Championship and Club Professional PGA Championship 2003, confirming its status as one of the country's finest courses.
Tulfarris Golf Course has something to offer players at all levels. Its on-site facilities are second to none, with a well-stocked pro shop, assorted catering options, the newly opened Spike Bar and ample locker rooms. The club also offers a practice area, buggy and club hire, and lessons are available on-site too.
