Hi, great idea to run this post. Last time I was in Dublin I stayed in the Merrion which I got to say was a good experience all round. Thanks again

    The Lucan Spa Hotel:

This hotel was built in 1932 and retains much of its old world charma nd character. It also boasts a very friendly staff, it being a family run hotel. It is located on the N4 national route, approximately 12 km’s from the city centre. The N4 is the main route out of Dublin to the west of Ireland and to many parts of the Northwest. The hotel has a strong reputation in Dublin and also with people from the western side of the country who have known it down through the decades as an inviting place to stop on the way into Dublin or on the way out of Dublin.

  3. Brooks Hotel Says:

This is a four star designer/boutique hotel catering for guests who value difference and for whom ambience, decor and quality of service are important. The hotel is located on Drury Street, a 2 minute walk from Grafton Street, St Stephens Green and trinity College. It really is a haven of peace within the hustle and bustle of the city. It is a modern and stylish hotel with an emphasis on personal service, attention to detail and unhurried timelessness.

Its amazing that only 2 hotels in all of Dublin replied to a personal email to add their comments to this section so I guess that this experiment has shown that Dublin hoteliers are complacant and do not want or need exposure even if its free! Fair play to The Lucan Spa and Brooks Hotel. To all the other 118 hotels we mailed asking for a comment and inviting them to give themselves a free plug well what can we say?
