County Limerick Ireland is located in the western part of Ireland. The city of Limerick lies on the banks of Ireland’s largest river-The River Shannon. Limerick has a proud reputation for its rugby and is home to the Munster rugby team which in May 2006 won the Heineken European Cup fr the first time creating sens of unbridalled joy in the city.
