Grafton Street Dublin

Grafton Street Dublin

Grafton Street is Dublin’s Principal shopping street on the south side of the city. It runs from College Green to St. Stephen’s green. It has been a pedestrian area since the eighties apart from the intersection of Nassau Street where the Trinity College Provost’s house and the Bronze of Molly Malone lodge. It is among the most expensive streets for retail site rent in Europe while certain prestigious locations hold the world record. It is the site of two of Dublin’s landmark retailers, Brown Thomas and Weirs. The former is a department store that moved from its original location across the street to occupy the larger Switzer’s building and the later is a famous jeweller. A number of chain stores also have branches here.  For anyone requiring Hotels in Dublin please use the link provided.
