The two Ashford hotels couldn’t be more different. One, is a 19^th century manor house with a riding school attached. This is the Bel Air. The other is Ballyknocken House, a former farmhouse that specialises in home cooked food made by the owner. She also runs a cookery school where you can be enrolled during your stay. Both hotels in Ashford though are alike in their emphasis on tradition, comfort and friendliness.

Ashford is a beautiful village conveniently located on the Dublin-Wicklow road. If you only visit one thing during your stay make sure it is the Mount Usher Gardens.
