Carraig Hotel is the only hotel in Carrick-on-Suir. It is, however, of reasonable price and has been awarded a three star rating. Located on the main street, it provides a convenient base from which to explore the town.

Prior booking is highly recommended as the hotel has only 24 suites. If not, Carrick-on-Suir also has some excellent guesthouses.

Carrick-on-Suir is a town located partly in Tipperary and partly Waterford though its official address is the former. A highlight of any visit is the Tipperary Crystal Shop, which is located here. Fishing, golfing and horseriding are also excellent ways of taking in the beauty of the town’s surrounds.
