The choice between the two hotels in Castlerea can be made based on the convenience of their location to your travel needs. Of the two Castlerea hotels, Tully’s is more centrally located in the town itself. It is small and family run and offers traditional food. However, the White House Hotel, though located outside the town, is a more modern affair with a bijou restaurant and conference facilities.
Castlerea is a small town with beautiful scenery with wooded areas and the River Suck nearby. Clonalis House is an interesting site in the town which gives insight into the O’Conor family, former kings of Connaught.
