Kilkenny City hotels are some of the few in the country, outside Dublin, which are popular throughout the year. Hotels in Kilkenny rely not on the weather but on the character of the city in which they are located. Most hotels in Kilkenny are located within the city centre itself or just minutes away. Most hotels are of three star quality and above and many of the bigger hotels have conference and leisure/spa facilities.

Kilkenny City is a medieval city and one shouldn’t leave without first visiting the famous castle. It has some great shops and its nightlife is always good.
