Hotels in Kinvara mainly consist of the Merriman Hotel. This is a three star establishment, which is noteworthy for having the largest thatched roof in the country. This very much hints at the character of the hotel which is traditional with an emphasis on homegrown produce served in its restaurant. Its 32 rooms are well appointed and comfortable.

Kinvara is a sea village located on the south of Galway Bay. Places of interest include the Dun Guaire Castle.
