Claregalway cottages are not in as great supply as in other Galway towns. However, self catering in Claregalway is available either in the town itself or nearby. Children, in particular, enjoy this form of accommodation as it is possible to maintain a routine and also to cook their favourite foods with little fuss. If you have any special needs, such as a cot, simply ask the owner and he/she will do their utmost to accommodate you.

Claregalway is a lovely village situated in East Galway. The Franciscan Abbey is particularly worth seeing. Only about six miles from the city centre, one can easily make day trips into Galway itself.
