Sligo is the county town of County Sligo in the northwest of Ireland. Home to a population of almost 17,900 inhabitants, the town is a bustling centre to the county. The picturesque town is dotted with numerous wonderful restaurants, and it is home to a lively pub scene. Visitors must stop by the cosy Hargadon’s Bar, which is an institution in the town. The town is also home to Sligo Abbey, a beautiful medieval building that was built in 1253. Kilkenny is one of the loveliest counties in Ireland. The city of Kilkenny rests on the banks of the River Nore, and it is home to a population of almost 8,700 inhabitants. The city is located in central western Ireland, and it is the smallest city in the country. The city is famed for its medieval buildings, not least the impressive Kilkenny Castle and Saint Canice’s Cathedral. This bustling city is a popular destination for Irish holidaymakers, and it is famed for its wonderful nightlife and restaurant culture.
