Meath is a fascinating county in the Irish Midlands. The area features a wide variety of attractions, and the most famous is probably in the Boyne Valley. This area was home to a sophisticated Neolithic society, and it is home to an abundance of ring forts and passage graves. The most famous passage graves are certainly Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth, and they’re well worth a visit. Other attractions in Meath include the friendly market town of Trim, and the mythical Hill of Tara.
