Cavan is a delightful county located in the Irish Midlands. The town is home to numerous attractions, and it is particularly popular amongst nature lovers. The area is home to the Cavan Way; a beautiful hill and valley walking trail that offers stunning scenery and a chance to witness some lovely native flora and fauna. Other popular areas in the county include Saint Killian’s Heritage Centre in the town of Mullagh. Visitors to Cavan should also take some time to visit the 13th century Drumline Monastic Site in the charming town of Milltown.
