Kinsale Hotels are some of the busiest in Ireland and this is unlikely to change in the near future. Hotels in Kinsale are second to none, in part due to their quality, in part due to their excellent location. Choose between a hotel located in the centre of the town or overlooking the harbour. Hotels range from the two stars up, facilities are generally good with an emphasis on excellent food.
Kinsale is popular due to its beautiful harbour and laid-back atmosphere. Seafood is a specialty here and many of its restaurants are first class.
Have you visited Kinsale recently? If so let us know what you thought by posting your views below.

Macroom Hotels in Cork should be booked well in advance. Only two hotels are located in this popular Cork town so competition is stiff and accommodation books out quickly. Hotels in Macroom consist of The Victoria Hotel which is a small hotel but is centrally located and the Castle Hotel is a three star hotel with spa facilities and recommended eateries.
Macroom, itself, is a thriving market town with some sights of historical interest. It has a busy nightlife.

Glengarriff hotels are limited to just two, the Eccles Hotel and Casey's Hotel. The Eccles Hotel is located in spectacular Bantry Bay. Restaurant and bar facilities are good while conference services are also available. Casey’s Hotel is family run and more intimate and is located in the heart of the village. With such limited choice of hotels in Glengarriff advance booking is highly recommended.
Glengarriff is a lovely, though small village, in Cork. Its scenery, particularly in the summer months, is breathtaking.

Hotels in Ballycotton are recommended for their location near Ballycotton’s greatest asset; Ballycotton Bay. Ballycotton has two hotels which are similar in that they offer accommodation in a comfy but stylish setting with an emphasis on offering a ‘home away from home’. Note though that while the Bayview Hotel is located within Ballycotton itself, Garryvoe Hotel, though overlooking the bay, is actually located in nearby Garryvoe town.
Located to the Southeast of Cork City, Ballycotton has long been praised as a great fishing location and sea angling is a popular pursuit of those who visit. We would love to hear your views on Ballycotton Hotels or indeed any aspect of Ballycotton. Simply post your views below.

Cork City is considered the second city in the county of Ireland. It is in the south west of the country and lies across the river Lee. The city has some monuments and indeed boasts the tallest building in the Republic, County Hall Tower. The city’s most famous building is the Shandon Church Tower and the City Hall was funded by the British Government after the War of Independence. The main shopping street is Patrick Street that starts at Patrick Street Bridge and is mostly pedestrian. Following on from here is Grand Parade where most of the financial institutions are housed in some spectacular Georgian buildings of which the most impressive is the Allied Irish Bank.
