We hope soon to develop a new site for Hotels in Galway. Bit of an experiment more than anything as this is actually our first foray with a .ie domain name. The goal will be to see can we rank on page 1 of Google for the term hotels in Galway within less than 6 months. This is a brand new domain and site so will be interesting.... Also trying a similar experiment for Restaurants in Galway and again goal will be to reach first page of Google for the term restaurants in Galway within 6 months or less.

Just added cheap galway hotels to google maps so will be interesting to see if we pop up or not. Also have applied the same scenario to Cheap Hotels in Cork. Whilst I am not overly convinced these will rank well in Google local search we already have had some great successes. So lets keep the fingers crossed that we appear for some cheap Galway hotels terms. Incidently all Hotels in Galway can be booked via the link provided.

Restaurants in Galway offer diners a wonderful variety of dishes to suit all budgets and tastes. The county has more restaurants per head of population than any other in Ireland, and as a result competition is tough and quality is high. Both the city and smaller towns offer a wonderful array of international cuisine, and portions are generally hearty. Galway is famed for its seafood, in particular the oyster. The season starts in September and finishes in April, and the county hosts numerous oyster festivals. Galway is a lively, welcoming county and this is even apparent in the area’s restaurants. If you want good food in a relaxed atmosphere, Galway is a wonderful place to dine.

Knocknacarra cottages are the most popular form of self catering in Knocknacarra. However, apartments and town houses are also available, it simply depends on your preference. Some are located in the village itself; others are nearer to its beaches and woodland. Although self catering is ideal for families, some owners will not accept children under a certain age. It is best to check before booking.
Knocknacarra is located only 4km from Galway city and Salthill is not far away either. It is a busy town with plenty to offer any visitor.

Claregalway cottages are not in as great supply as in other Galway towns. However, self catering in Claregalway is available either in the town itself or nearby. Children, in particular, enjoy this form of accommodation as it is possible to maintain a routine and also to cook their favourite foods with little fuss. If you have any special needs, such as a cot, simply ask the owner and he/she will do their utmost to accommodate you.
Claregalway is a lovely village situated in East Galway. The Franciscan Abbey is particularly worth seeing. Only about six miles from the city centre, one can easily make day trips into Galway itself.

Oranmore cottages remain a popular form of holiday accommodation. This is partly due to Oranmore itself which is a picturesque area near Galway Bay. It is also due, though, to the excellent cottages in Oranmore. Traditional cottages compete with purpose built holiday homes in order to satisfy tourist needs. Expect higher rates from July to late September which is considered the peak season. Every possible requirement is catered for, from gardens (suitable for summer barbeques) to washer/dryers and T.V. Should you have any additional needs, such as a cot for young children, these are usually easily met.

Portumna self catering accommodation is plentiful so you are bound to find something which suits your vacation needs. Cottages in Portumna are popular, as are farmhouses. Every comfort is available; from TV, to kitchen facilities to linen and towels. Ask the owner where the nearest shop is in order to get in all your grocery requirements. Some self catering do offer laundry services but it is best to check before booking.
Fishing, carting and golf are all popular pursuits in Portumna. Its scenery is punctuated by the River Shannon and Lough Derg. A beautiful place to visit.
