Ballinskelligs Hotels consist of just the Ballinskelligs Inn. Yet, this small hotel is unexpected. Almost like a retreat, everything you could possibly want is located right here. It is situated right on the beach so in good weather long walks, fishing or swimming can be enjoyed on your doorstep. A restaurant, deli, pub and shop are all located on site. One downside is that only fourteen rooms are available so booking in advance is necessary. Ballinskelligs village is located on a beautiful bay. A recently approved hotel, Kirbys Lanterns Hotel is the main hotel in Tarbert. Overlooking the Shannon, it is the ideal base for exploring the area. It has twenty-two rooms, which means that for most times of the year, prior booking is recommended. Parsons Restaurant offers some excellent cuisine during your stay. Killorglin Hotels There are no major hotels in Killorglin situated directly in the village. However, just outside the town is located a very good four star hotel which should meet the needs of any visitor to Killorglin. This is Ard Na Sidhe Hotel. This is a renovated Elizabethan house and according to legend has a fairy hill located behind it. Twenty traditionally appointed rooms are available and a la carte restaurant is located here. If you are talking a walking tour during your stay packed lunches are also available. Killorglin is located just 15 minutes drive from Killarney. A busy town in its own right, it is also conveniently located near to Dingle and Kenmare. During a visit why not stop at the Reptile Museum or the Museum and Exhibition Centre. Derrynane Hotel is the one hotel in Caherdaniel. Rated to three stars, its location is a big part of its charm. Situated right beside the sea, its gardens stretch right to the shore. It even has an outdoor pool from which to enjoy the scenery. Guestrooms are comfortable and the food is simple and delicious. The Derrynane was named Family Hotel of the Year in 2005. The town of Caherdaniel lies near Derrynane Bay. Famously, Daniel O’Connell once lived in the area and this history can be explored in Derrynane House, which contains a museum dedicated to the ‘Liberator’. Cahirciveen hotels most often deal with visitors following the route around Kerry. As such they must provide comfort and efficiency for travellers and the hotels in Cahirciveen strive to do so. Dingle Hotels tend to be busy most times of the year. So popular is this Kerry town that prior booking is recommended when choosing from the hotels in Dingle. The two main hotels are the Dingle Skellig Hotel and Benners Hotel. The former is probably Dingle’s most established hotel and has a four star rating. It has a spa, leisure club and a fabulous restaurant that overlooks Dingle Bay. Benners Hotel is owned by the same people and is traditionally decorated and has 52 guestrooms. Situated in West Kerry, Dingle is famous for its fabulous beaches and its famous resident, Fungie, the dolphin. White Sands Hotel is the only hotel in Ballyheigue to meet the demands of this small, yet popular, location. It is a small family run hotel which offers the best in Kerry hospitality. It has its own pub and restaurant and during the summer season live entertainment is provided.Ballyheigue is a small village in North Kerry. It has a lovely sandy beach and historical sites of interest such as Ballyheigue Castle and Ballingarry Castle. For such a tiny location it is surprising that there are two major Glenbeigh hotels. However, the town's popularity with tourists and fabulous scenery make the two hotels in Glenbeigh necessary. The smaller of the two is Olde Glenbeigh Hotel. This is a family-run hotel with twelve guestrooms and a traditional pub and restaurant. The Towers Hotel is a three star hotel with nearly 30 rooms and a restaurant renowned for its seafood. Glenbeigh town’s attractions are all about its location. It is situated at the foot of Seefin Mountains. Rosbeigh beach is one of the best in county. Angling is a popular sport here with Caragh Lough situated nearby. Tralee Kerry  This town of twenty thousand inhabitants is part of the county of Kerry and is situated at the neck of the Dingle Peninsula. The main street in the town is a wide Georgian Street named Denny Street after Edward Denny who owned the town in the late sixteenth century. At the end of the street is the Ashe Memorial Hall dedicated to Thomas Ashe founder of the Irish Volunteers. In the centre of the street is the Croppy Boy Pike man monument. The town is best known for its ‘Rose of Tralee’ festival held each August while surrounding attractions are Brandon Mountain and the dolphin that inhabits Dingle Bay.
